Welcome to the InterLink Resource Hub
The Hub contains a range of informative resources, posters, print-outs and content on a range of topics, written and designed specifically for, and by people with an Innate Variation in Sex Characteristics (IVSC). InterLink respects that people use many different terms to describe their bodies and experiences.
These resources cover a range of topics designed to give you and your loved ones information and support across all areas of health, wellbeing, rights, relationships, and your body.
People with innate variations of sex characteristics use different words to talk about themselves. You can use the language you are most comfortable with.
These fact sheets have been developed to empower people with innate variations of sex characteristics and their families, to make informed decisions and care for their health. They recognise that everyone, including adults and children, has a right to autonomy and self-determination over their own body.
These fact sheets have been developed to empower people with innate variations of sex characteristics to assist with making informed decisions about your healthcare, accessing your medical records and understanding your rights in medical settings. They include a range of self care and mental health focused resources including information on peer support, mental health, sex, sexuality, bodies and vaginal dilation.
These resources have been created to support parents who are expecting a child with an IVSC, or have been informed that their child has been diagnosed with an IVSC. These resources aim to help overcome fears of talking about IVSC with your child or getting the information you need to best support your child and their health needs.
People with an innate variation in sex characteristics or intersex variation learn about or discover this information at all ages. It is okay if you have known for a long time or if it is something you have just discovered about yourself.
These resources focus on interpersonal and intimate relationships. This information is specifically developed for people with an IVSC and addresses specific ways in which healthy and unhealthy behaviours and dynamics can relate to common experiences of having an IVSC.
This Page contains a range of downloadable and printable poster resources that can be used for healthcare professionals, schools, community organisations and businesses.
The InterLink resources were conceptualised, designed and developed by a co-design working group made up of community members with lived experience of having an IVSC, or being the parent of someone with an IVSC.
